 Still no word about the job. In fact, the job posting just closed today, so I figure it'll be a least a week. I really wish that they would hurry up and just let me know. I'm sick of getting stressed out about this stuff.

A really good friend of mine is leaving on Saturday to move to Hong Kong. I'm really going to miss her. It hasn't quite sunk it yet, that she's going to be half way around the world, and I won't see her every day when I get to work. Her husband got an amazing job over there, and I totally understand her decision. I'll just really miss her. It's a 20 hour flight away. People shouldn't have to move. Ever. Dammit, it's all about me, don't they know that?

Moving on, 24 last night kicked my ass. I still love my show. I can not wait for next season. Those are all my non-spoilery thoughts. I'm at work, so I haven't seen NCIS yet, but I am FREAKING out about it. Love that show too damn much.

Today is the first day back after a long weekend, and my brain is totally fried. I am not ready to be at work tonight. I keep screwing things up. The weekend was awesome though. I went with my roommates to one Roomie's hometown, where we took over her parents house while they were away. We just went shopping, and watched movies and relaxed. We also ate way too much food. It was a lot of fun.

Back to work I go.

 Gah! I just banged my knee on the desk really hard. Dammit that hurt.

In other fun news of the day, I killed a spider. I also killed a spider yesterday. That means, in the past two days it is Steph - 2, Spiders - NADA!! Hahahaha take that you little eight legged freaks. And don't try and give me that "now it will rain" crap, because I don't believe it for a second. Besides, rain is good for plants and stuff. Much better than creepy spiders.

The good news of the week is that I think I'm getting a full time job. Remember the last fiasco? When they gave me full time hours, but not an actual job with benefits and stuff? They told me then that the next full time job would be mine. One of the guys in my department is moving to a different department in the building, so... yeah. I'm not going to go completely crazy about it until it is absolutely positive that I have it. So cross your fingers for me.

Please tell me you've all been listening to NIN's With_Teeth because it is so freaking beautiful, and amazing, and a million other good adjectives. Thanks so much One, for letting me know right away how good it was because I was debating getting it.

Speaking of music, next week is concert week! WHEEEEEEE! Doves and then British Sea Power the next night. Did I mention Doves? I think they are probably my second favourite band of all time. I just love them so freaking much. I can not wait for that show. I'm getting all giddy just thinking about it.

Pooh, being the wonderful person that she is, sent me the Care Package of Awesomeness! last week. It is the best thing ever. She gave me all of Cupid, Space: Above and Beyond and Veronica Mars. SQUEEEE! Soooo good! I found out that CTV is going to start running VM soon. Yeah, too little to late. Jerks. I mean, not jerks! Love! LOVELOVELOVE omgpleasegivemeajobthanksbye.
