Best tv night ever. Buffy rocked! Caleb was super sexy and evil, two of my favourite qualities, and Buffy got told off. By everyone! It was so wonderful. It was like a dream.

And 24? *thud* Just when I think that The Kief can not get any hotter, he does! Jack was in top form tonight. The sex voice was in high use, and did you see when Kate's hair got caught in his stubble? Sigh... but I can't talk about Kate. I can't. I can't talk about how stupid she is, and why she didn't kiss him, and rip his clothes off and fuck his brains out on that kitchen counter. I really can't. *sobs* Will my Jack ever get any lovin?

Ok, so I found some AMAZING first season 24 screencaps, but the site is all "for my site only, don't take these, this means you Steph!" So I'll just have to link them for you. Here is the ultimate PhoneSexKiefer shot. And here is the obligatory Jack and a Gun shot. And finally, this is the "I know you want me" shot.
    Aren't they pretty?

And now I'm stealing this quiz from just about everybody...

Thanks everybody for the happy intern thoughts. I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything.

So that means it's random survey time! Here's how this one works... You have to answer the questions using lyrics from songs. As a music freak I've been working on it forever trying to find the perfect lyrics. I really hope that some other people steal this survey, because I'd love to see what songs you guys would pick.

    1) Are you male or female?:
"oh little girl..." Depeche Mode - Behind the Wheel

    2) Describe your neighborhood:
"Our house, in the middle of our street..." Madness - Our House

    3) How do you look?:
"her hair is brown, her eyes are hazel" The Vapours - Turning Japanese

    4) If you could say one thing to the person you like what would it be?:
"Please forgive me if I act a little strange, for I know not what I do. Feels like lightening rushing through my veins, every time I look at you. " David Gray - Please Forgive Me

    5) Where do you wish you were right now?:
"I'm out on a beach..." Richard Ashcroft - On a Beach

    6) What do you think about your best friends?:
"And I thank you for bringing me here, for showing me home, for singing these tears. Finally I've found that I belong here." Depeche Mode - Home

    7) Any words of advice?:
"...the trick is to keep breathing." Garbage - The Trick is to Keep Breathing

    8) What do you wish you were doing right now?:
"Well I could sleep forever..." The Dandy Warhols - Sleep

    9) What do you think about drugs and alcohol?:
"I'm feeling supersonic, give me gin and tonic..." Oasis - Supersonic

    10) If you could say one thing to your enemy what would it be?:
"Call me that name and I'll hit you again, you're a slut, you're a bitch, you're a whore..." Travis - The Blue Flashing Light

    11) What do you usually do on Friday nights?:
"Everybody's working for the weekend..." Loverboy - Working for the Weekend

    12) Are you for World Peace?:
"...Been looking for peace but they're bringing you war..." Sam Roberts - Brother Down

    13) What do you think about your school?:
"School's out for me, school's out for you." Ladytron - Skools Out

    14) How do you feel right now?:
"I really don't know what I'm doing here, I really think I should've gone to bed tonight..." The Cure - Open

    15) Any closing words?:
"We live in a beautiful world... yeah we do..." Coldplay - Don't Panic

Listening to: Tori Amos - Love Song
"Whenever I'm alone with you, you make me feel like I am whole again..."

I don't even want to talk about tonight's Alias. I really didn't like it, so all I will say is that Sark looked like a total mansicle. They like to tease us... they just throw us a little bit of skin to keep us wanting more. Sark looked amazing. I hope that wardrobe throws out all of his ties. Well, maybe they can keep a few in case someone feels the need to tie him up with one. *coughSydcough* And yes, I know that wasn't Sark in the preview. But a girl can dream!

I was trying to get an internship at a record company a few months ago, and it didn't pan out. But then on Friday, completely out of the blue, my contact emailed me and said they were looking for someone. He also said that they might be required to get a college student, but that I should contact the HR person anyway. So cross your fingers for me! I probably won't get it, and even if I did I'm not sure if I would have the time for it. Damn unpaid internships. I just wanted to try it out and see if that was the business for me.

     Stolen from everyone:

    5 TV Boyfriends
    1. Jack Bauer, 24. Have you looked at this blog? The Kief/Jack are my current obsession. Jack is sexier than anyone else, he can hold a gun like no one else, he can withstand torture, and if the torture should kill him, he'll come right back to life to kill the bastards that got him. He's super smart, he's always one step ahead of everyone else... basically he's perfect.
    2. Sark, Alias. He has no first name, he has a dead sexy accent, he's second only to Jack in gun holding, and he has questionable alliances. I still think that Sark is in charge... it's just that no one else knows it.
    3. Alec, Dark Angel. Super smart, super sexy, funny as hell. Those guys at Manticore knew what they were doing.
    4. Fox Mulder, the X-Files. When I was 13 years old, and all my friends were lusting after Leonardo Dicaprio, I was worshipping at the alter of David Duchovny. Mulder was obsessed with his work, insanely smart and very vulnerable. I loved him to pieces, even after the show went downhill and he started to annoy me.
    5. Spike, Buffy (before season 6) When Spike was all mean, evil and snarky he was the hottest thing ever. I'm still willing to put up with him now, just because I remember how wonderful he used to be.
    6. Malcolm Reynolds, Firefly. Sexy, funny as hell and actually managed to pull off the outfits they threw at him.
    7. Alex Krycek, the X-Files. I hated Krycek at first. I hated his dorky haircut, the bad suits, the fact that he was there and Scully wasn't, and a billion other things. And then suddenly he was the badguy. And then he was sexy. I'm not sure why it is that I love bad guys so much. Krycek made one armed guys sexy. And no one has ever looked as good in a leather jacket.

I know it said 5, but everyone else was putting 7 so I thought I'd follow suit.

    5 TV Girlfriends
    1. Faith, Buffy. Faith is hot, and she kicks total ass. End story.
    2. Irina Derevko, Alias. I can only hope that I look that hot at that age. And besides being hot, Irina is incredibly smart, and always one step ahead of the men (except for that one time with Jack, and who could resist him? He was going to be number 8, but I had to finish the list.)
    3. Lilah, Angel. She was evil, and she got to have sex with Wes (#9).
    4. Michelle, 24. I love that she has a backbone, I love that she stands up to Tony(#10) but will still make out with him since he's hot. And I really love that she'll do whatever she can to help Jack.
    5. Max, Dark Angel. But only when she wasn't pouting, because then she kicked ass, had some way better snarky comebacks than Buffy could ever put together.

    5 TV Couples
    1. Jack/Kate, 24. Really, I want this to be Jack/Steph but I can't seem to make that happen. I don't even really like Kate that much, but the urge to see more NekkidJack is all consuming and powerful.
    2. Sark/Syd, Alias. It doesn't even have to be Syd... it could be Irina, or Girl in Bar #3. I don't really care... Much like Jack, I just feel that we should see a lot of NekkidSark. But I do think that Sark/Syd would be completely hot. She'd be all tormented, and he'd torment (wink, nudge) her. It would be a beautiful thing.
    3. Scully/Krycek, the X-Files. This was the start of my good girl goes to the dark side love. I still think it was the best idea the X-Files writers never had.
    4. Max/Alec, Dark Angel. From the second he walked into her cell and said they were breeding partners it was love. Even if she had to pretend for a while that she didn't like him it was obvious that they were meant to be. None of that Logan crap.
    5. Spike/Dru, Buffy. They were perfect for each other. She was insane, he was insane about her. Spike was never the same without her, and we all suffered because of it.

It's been a few days since I've put up any pictures of Kiefer and that's just wrong, so...

Ok so he's not nekkid, but he is smoking, and rockin the shades.

Know what's better than a picture of Jack? A picture of Jack with a gun.

A random reason why I love Kiefer:

Does anyone have any insomnia cures? Besides popping a couple of pills, or tossing back a bottle of wine... I'm looking for something that won't make my kidneys or liver mad at me. Sleep has not been my friend lately. I know exactly what the problem is... it's work. I've been working the night shift (3pm to midnight) for months now. And they keep scheduling me for long stretches at a time. I'm talking 9 or 10 days straight. Since I'm always wired when I get home from work, I stay up for a while. Each day it gets later and later, and now I'm at the point where I'm watching the clock hit 5am. It's making me insane... all twitchy, zombie like and often really bitchy.

I'll stop whining about RL now, and instead will talk about all the fun shows I watched today. SullyMel sent me a lovely tape that had on it Kiefer hosting SNL circa 1991, and Jack Black hosting SNL from last season. Jack Black was hilarious as always, but it was Kief that made my day. You should have seen him! There was Tuxedo!Kief, Smoking!LeatherPants!Kief, Jeans!Kief and ScaryWig!Kief. It was a beautiful thing. SM, thanks again! You're the greatest!

In yesterdays blog of FOX hatred, I left one show out. This was not an oversight... I was just so bitter after posting about VR5, Firefly and Dark Angel that I couldn't even bring myself to start on Pasadena. So I'll do that now. Pasadena was a great show... full of plot twists, mystery and hot men. So what did FOX do? It aired four episodes. FOUR! Here's the kicker... they produced 13. Half a season, paid for and produced but never aired. I can't begin to understand this. It's a colossal waste of money for starters, but it was a really good show. Sigh... So for Trixie who I know shares the Pasadena/Mark Valley love:

Mark Valley has a new show out this season called Keen Eddie. Sadly, it also is on the network of death. But since every once and awhile a show like 24 manages to escape the chopping block, cross your fingers for KE as well.

Because a day without Kiefer's voice is like a day without sunshine, go here.

Tomorrow is set up to be the best day. All I'm going to do is sit around and watch my new dvd's, my present from SullyMel (dude, thanks again you're the best!) and read my new book. Nothing like being a slug for a day.

So even though it depressed me, SM's blog got me thinking about hotties of shows gone by. So I present my own collection.
    First off:

Now, I know that some of you are saying "Huh? Why Giles? Buffy just got cancelled..." You see this isn't Giles. This is super secret Committee member Oliver Sampson, one of the characters on VR5. If you've never heard of VR5 I'll forgive you since I think only me and 7 other people watched it. But I loved it. And I was completely in lust with Oliver. He was the good guy... or the bad guy. No, he was good. When he wasn't being bad. Basically, when Sark grows up, he will be Oliver. Have I mentioned I loved him? Cause I did, and still do. Suit wearing, gun toting, sexy as all hell Oliver. I miss you. I have 2 episodes of VR5 on tape, and I might have to add them to the list of things to watch tomorrow.

    Next:

    This is Ben...

And this is Alec. Both are played by the insanely gorgeous Jensen Ackles and were characters on Dark Angel. JA is the reason I started watching the Creek again. Thank god he isn't with Joey, because I couldn't take that. Alec is my favourite tv character ever. He had it all... the looks, he was funny and smart. I miss him.

    Moving on we get to:

Here's Mal, after he was shot. What is it about guys getting hurt that's so sexy? I loved Mal, and everything about Firefly. And I just realized the common thread all of these characters have. Fox. Fox cancelled all of my pretty shows. I'm surprised that 24 has lasted this long.

    Now I'm bitter... damn Fox.
Listening to: Doves - Lost in Watts

Ugh... I just got an email from a girl I went to college with. I haven't spoken to this girl since grad last May. It's not that we don't get along, we've just never been that close. So I was surprised to see an email from her. I open it, and it's to me and about a million other people inviting me to her Stag and Doe. First off, I know for a fact that I'm not invited to the wedding. Which is fine, since we're not really friends. Second, the stag's in her hometown which is about a six hour drive from here. Riiiiight. I hate people who make blatant money/present grabs. You're getting married? That's great, congrats have a nice life. Don't invite me to some party where all you want is to raise funds for a wedding I'm not invited to. That's just shallow. And when the Queen of Shallow is calling you shallow, you've hit a new low. It just really bothered me. So needless to say, I'm not going.

So I bought two dvd's today. I'm really happy with both of them, but one is completely embarrassing. The first one is The Lost Boys which is one of the best movies ever because it has the Kief, Vampires, a Echo and the Bunnymen song, the Coreys and the Kief. Yeah, he deserves to be on that list twice. The second movie is... *hangs head in shame* Center Stage. It has the potential to be the best bad movie of all time. I mean, hiring dancers instead of actors? That was pure brilliance because this movie features some of the worst acting I've ever seen. Especially from the guy who played Cooper. He was awful! The whole movie is atrocious, but I love it to pieces. It's a sickness.

I FINALLY saw Phone Booth. And dear god, I loved every last second of it. SullyMel and I were just discussing wanting to lick the blood off of Colin's neck. Which might sound wrong, unless you've seen the movie and then I know that you totally get it. And PhoneSexKief... oh my god. That man's voice is enough to inspire all kinds of dirty, dirty thoughts. In fact, I'd like to be in that phone booth, having Kief tell me to lick the blood and sweat off Colin. Jesus...

And now because I really don't have anything else to say after that lovely, lovely image, I'm going to leave you some lovely images:

The Idlewild show was fantastic! It was amazing. Roddy has traded in his I'm a cute little boy singer look for the I'm a sexy rock star look. They played pretty much everything that I wanted to hear including: Roseability, These Wooden Ideas, Listen to What you've Got, American English, You Held The World in Your Arms, I'm a Message, When I Argue I See Shapes, A Film for the Future, The Remote Part, and a bunch more that I'll remember later. It was one of the best concerts I've seen in a while. My friend J and I were saying afterwards that we're going to have to laugh at everyone who didn't want to come with us. We kept saying how Idlewild are amazing, and really good live but no one believed us. Their loss! Great, great show. And I got a shirt! I've been really good, and haven't got a concert shirt in a long time. It's baby blue, has a v-neck and says "support your local poet" on the front and "Idlewild the remote part" on the back. It's very pretty and I'm happy with it.

The entire family is coming over for Easter, and sadly I haven't showered yet so I'm going to get on that. Happy Easter to all that celebrate, and Happy Weekend to all that don't!

Listening to: Idlewild - American English

    Maybe you’re young without youth
Or maybe you’re old without knowing anything true
I think you’re young without youth

Then you contract the American dream, you never look up once
You’ve contracted American dreams,I require you to stop and look up

I'm not going to say much about Buffy because it was days ago for most of you, but I will say that it was one of the best episodes I've seen in a long time. And Caleb is the best villain they've had since Original Spike. I will not have a breakdown about how much I miss Firefly and Mal.

I don't have a lot to say today, other than IDLEWILD IS TONIGHT!!!! I've been really looking forward to this show. Idlewild are amazing, and they are so good live. And I want a shirt! If they don't bring shirts with them I will be bitter.

Other news brightening my day, the new Elbow cd should be out this summer. I love Elbow! (SullyMel take note of this fact, because I'm hoping that soon you will love them too!) Guy Garvey, their lead singer, is this plain looking average guy, until he starts singing. Then he instantly becomes the sexiest man alive. That voice is enough to make anyone melt.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm looking forward to my three blissful days off!

Oh. My. God. You may recall that I watched 24 at work yesterday. Well I taped part of it too, because it was nekkid!Kief. It screamed "watch me over and over again." So tonight I was talking to one the guys at work about nekkid!Kief. Friend is gay, so I figured he'd appreciate it. Our conversation:

Steph: I think I need to see Nekkid!Kief again. I might have to break the tape out.
Friend: Are you still going on about him?
    S: Yes! It was Nekkid!Kief!
F: Oh... You know I met him once.
(small pause while I try not to scream, and pick my jaw up off the floor)
    S: (very small voice) what?
F: I met him once. For some production.
S: (still with the quiet) what?
F: Yeah, it was just after he broke up with what's her name...
    S: Julia Roberts?
F: Yeah... Man was he hung over. And smoked like a chimney.
    S: My god that's sexy...
F: (gives me a weird look, then slaps my thigh. Really hard!)
S: Ow!!! What project were you doing that you got... to... meet... him. (Seriously trying not to hyperventilate)
F: He was introducing some speech that his grandfather gave about *political crap that I didn't care about here as it didn't involve Kief* It was when I worked at *production company that you've never heard of*
S: Did you talk to him?
F: Yeah... just a little bit. I was concentrating on lighting him. I wanted to backlight him... blah blah blah, he went on but I had completely lost it by that point.

I know someone that has had a conversation (albeit a pathetic one) with Kiefer Sutherland. I wanted to cry "why do you get to meet Kiefer when you don't even care about him? Why? Why? WHY?" The only thing that makes me feel mildly better about this, was that is was in the late 80's - early 90's so I was too young to fully appreciate the hotness that is Kiefer. But I'm still bitter and jealous anyway.

    Moving on...
David Anders is my soulmate. From an article on his website:
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE KIND OF MUSIC, AND WHAT BANDS OR ARTISTS ARE YOU LISTENING TO PRESENTLY?

David Anders: Rock music! That is music. I'm not a hip hop fan. I'm not a big trance, techno fan. I'm a Radiohead fan. Radiohead is the greatest band ever to live. Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Tool, Depeche Mode, Jeff Buckley, Ryan Adams. I do like Korn. I am also a big show tunes fan. I like musicals. But Radiohead is the greatest. Geniuses.

He likes Depeche Mode! No boys like Depeche Mode. Well no straight boys anyway... *completely ignores comments about showtunes and musicals*

In my junk mail folder I found an email with this subject line: Amateurs getting there freak on :) Sorry, I like my amateurs to have proper grammar, thank you.

Oooh, Buffy finally finished downloading hurrah! Off to watch! Sorry this was so random.

Just a small note to people who feel the need to keep episodes of Charmed kicking around on their hard drive. I have a crazy idea! Why don't you label the episode "Charmed" instead of "Buffy 7x18 Dirty Girls" That way, when people want to download Buffy, they won't end up with Charmed instead and then they won't have to blog about it and be generally pissed off. Just a thought...

Ugh... I am a raging ball of bitterness today. Got up nice and early to watch all my fun taped shows from last night. Since I was working, I taped Smallville and 24 in my room. I asked my mom to tape Buffy and Six Feet Under while she watched them. Well that would have been all fine and dandy if SHE HAD TAPED IT ON THE RIGHT CHANNEL!!!! We have a digital cable box, so you can only tape what you are watching. And the VCR has to be on channel 3. Was it on channel 3? No. Normally this would not upset me all that much since the movie network runs SFU all the time. And I can download Buffy on Kazaa... at least I thought I could. I currently have 2 downloads going. The crappy not so good file should finish downloading in about 60 hours and the high quality good file will be done in about 332 hours. Oh, wait it's picked up a bit! Now it should only take about 175 hours. Great... Have I mentioned that I have a cable modem? I mean, if I was on dial up then I would expect this kind of delay. All I wanted was to see my Nathan being all evil and bitchy but nooooo. *cries*

At least I have Nekkid!TiedUp!Sweaty!Kief! to watch over and over and over and over again.

     24 spoilers ahead...

I love my job so very much. At 8:55, I realized that I had done all the work I could possibly do at that exact moment. Meaning I could take an hour and watch 24! And my dear God, 24 tonight was the hottest thing I have ever seen. Dude, it was Nekkid!TiedUp!Sweaty!Kief! I just about died. Could he be any hotter? He makes torture sexy. The man is a god. And Tony and Michelle! That's what I'm talking about... I'm glad to see that someone is getting my "just jump him dammit!" vibes. *shoots Kate a dirty look for being completely useless* Have I mentioned lately that I hate Kate? Cause I really do hate her. Thank god this was a Kim free ep, I couldn't have handled both of them acting like idiots. Didn't Kate have a gun last week? What the hell happened to that? And one little slap and she's down for the count. Kate gives women everywhere a bad name. I am a little bit sad that my Jack was all tortured and dying. But you know he's going to be fine, so I'm not really worried. Maybe the near death experience will make Jack need a life affirming experience, such as, oh... I don't know, maybe... some Hot!Sweaty!Sex! I don't even care who it's with. In fact, bonus points if it's not Kate due to the hatred.

I tried to find Nekkid!TiedUp!Sweaty!Kief! screencaps for you, but apparently it's a little too soon for those. So instead we'll go with Not Sweaty Not Tied Up but Still Really Hot Kief:

Sadly Queer as Folk was a bit on the boring side. I guess they decided to fill the season premiere full of sex and nudity to draw viewers in, and then thought that plot would keep everyone interested. This is not the case. If you want people to watch, less Lesbians and more hot nekkid men.

Speaking of hot nekkid men, let's all scroll down to look at that picture of Kiefer again, because my god is he hot. Here's hoping that 24 tonight involves some nekkid sweaty Jack sex because we all really do need to see some of that. Hurrah for Tuesday shows!

Now the printer isn't working... Evil! Evil!

On a completely different note, One how did we both manage to miss this gem durring the competition?

Ack! I hate my computer sometimes. Actually, I hate it a lot of the time. I have just spent about 3 hours trying to burn a cd, and the damn thing just didn't want to co-operate. I finally got it finished, and finished the CD jacket after attempting to type it out about 4 times. Basically the only thing keeping me sane right now is that I have just made (in my opinion) one of the best mix CD's ever. It is beautiful and perfect, and everything about it is wonderful. But I still hate the computer. I'm not letting it off the hook that easily. Just needed to rant. Going to bed now...

Hurrah for my future husband! In case you didn't know, my future husband Mike Wier won the Masters today. The only thing standing in the way of our love and happiness is the fact that we haven't actually met, and that he's already married. But these are only minor obsticles standing in our way. Although, it will be sad when I have to leave him for Kiefer Sutherland. But that's just fate! So congrats Mike, it's nice to see a boy from Ontario hit the big time.

SM, I've almost finished the song list for your cd. It's mostly some country, mixed in with a lot of Eddie Vedder/Creed style stuff. I think you'll... Oh, just got your email. Sigh... *starts new music list from scratch*

One - I hope that Jensen's new pilot will be amazing! But more than that, I hope that Fox actually gives the damn thing half a chance before it yanks it off the air. *mumbles under breath about Fox, Dark Angel, Pasedena and Firefly*

Amy - The new Pete Yorn album comes out on Tuesday. It's called Day I Forgot. I'm still very seriously thinking about going to see Pete Yorn and Grandaddy if I can get the time off work, and come up with the money. I've seen Pete twice already (and Grandaddy once) and he was really good. So I'm weighing really good show with already seen two really good shows. I've got until May to figure it out.

    Back to work for me!
Listening to people talking. But if you want some pretty music to listen to, try Meet Me at the Pier by Doves. It's an instrumental, but it's really nice.

I taped Dawson's Creek last night. I don't know why, I guess I just feel like I should be watching these last few episodes since I was a big fan when the show first came on. I've seen a few episodes this season, mostly because of my love for Jensen Ackles who is completely wasted as CJ. Where's Alec when you need him? But anyway, I watched DC this morning and came to the conclusion that I hate every single character on that show except for CJ (and the only reason I don't hate him is because of JA) and of course Pacey. Pacey is still adorable, and someone should shoot Joey. Repeatedly. That girl is insane. And my poor heart was breaking for Pacey when he asked her to dance one last time. AND it was to Pete Yorn's Just Another which is one of the most beautiful songs ever. Come on over here Pacey, I'll treat you right!

    Sigh...

SullyMel just for the record you are the greatest. I hope you're enjoying the old SNL reruns! I can't wait for the old school Kiefer! Thanks again!

Listening to: Pete Yorn - Just Another

Now stealing the Friday Five from One

    1. What was the first band you saw in concert? New Kids On the Block. It was the best day of my life at that point in time. Even though Joey's voice had changed, I was still feeling it. And I was convinced that I was going to marry Jordan Knight.

    2. Who is your favourite artist/band now? Depeche Mode! I'm not even going to get started on them, because I won't be able to stop. Just know that they are amazing and wonderful.

    3. What's your favourite song? Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence. It's perfect.

    4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be? I can already play piano and flute. And I can strum enough chords on a guitar to fool people into thinking I can play it. So I'd have to go with the Drums, because I think drummers are sexy. Or maybe the Cello, cause I think it's sexy. Or the Harp, just because it would be cool to be able to play the harp.

    5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why? Kurt Cobain. Just so I could ask him what the hell he was thinking.

Just when you thought the Hot Kiefer Picture competition was over, Trix throws in a bunch of pics she's been holding back! Mean girl! I'd hit you, but you'd like it.

Finally got a chance to watch all my taped shows. There is some (very minor) spoilage for Queer as Folk, and some major spoilage for 24 and Angel. You've been warned!

So going in order of when they originally aired, I'll start with Queer as Folk. I don't have too much to say, but I did get some figures cause I know that SullyMel wants to hear all about them.
    Number of Kisses: 13
    Number of Bare Asses: 9
Number of Half Naked Post Sex Scenes: 1
Number of Full Frontal (male) Scenes: 2
Number of Simulated Sex Scenes: 5 baby!

So all in all, it was a good night for some hot guy on guy action. Brian gets hotter every damn time I see him.

Speaking of hot men, on to 24! I've decided that the sexiness that is Jack knows no bounds. Dude, he was whipping out the semi automatic, and he has beautiful eyelashes. Amazing eyelashes. I heart the eyelashes. And the eyes. And every other part of his body. Know who else is sexy? Tony. Tony gets hotter with each scene. Especially Angry!Tony. Angry!Tony is the sexiest of all the Tony's. Total sparkage with him and Michelle. Carrie is a kiss ass, who needs to have her ass kicked. I like Michelle. She helped Jack when no one else would, and she brings out Angry!Tony. That makes Michelle the winner in the Michelle/Carrie contest.

Dude, every time Michelle Forbes hits the screen, all I can think about is David Duchovny fucking her against the wall in Kalifornia. I think I miss a lot of Pres Plot stuff because I'm too busy reliving the David lust.

Why is Kim still alive? Why? Although, I did feel kinda happy for her when she found out that Jack was still alive. But that was it, and I was glad when Stumpy dumped her ass. You could see the amputation coming. Personally, I though he'd be paralyzed, but overall you knew he was fucked in the leg department. And I can't believe that Kim is getting a wrist slap. Please.

Kate - "I can use a gun..." Really Kate? Cause I noticed when Mr. Roving Gunman was right in front of you, you were having some issues with using the gun. Don't step up to the plate unless you're prepared to swing. The only reason I don't want to kill you a la Kim is because you are basically the only hope for some HotNekkidSweatyJackLovin. Hopefully that comes next week. Where is the preview, where? *cries*

Tony - "What do you want from me Michelle?" Well, I can't speak for Michelle, but I know what I want! NekkidTony! But NekkidJack first! And always!

The National Guard is apparently not so good at the Guarding part. They might want to work on that.

Wallace - "Ack! I'm dying! Let me repeat all the information you already know, and then die before I tell you where the information is." For the record, I did call the in-the-body hiding place.

Overall, another super good ep, but I'm still so sad at the lack of preview! Damn you Global!

    Moving on... Angel.
Um... I was kinda bored. And Angel should never, ever wear anything that isn't black. That shirt was god awful. Seeing GT made me miss Firefly so bad that I pulled out Jaynestown and watched it. (For the record, Jaynestown was way better than whatever this ep of Angel was called.) Fred didn't annoy me too much tonight. I think it's because I was too busy being annoyed at Conner, and basically everyone else. So what looked far better than this ep was The Preview! This almost (almost, but really in no way close) made up for not seeing the 24 preview. There's gonna be smut! I never thought of the Fred/Angel ship, except for waaaay back when they first found Fred and she was all crushy on Angel. At the time I found it wrong because I was loving the Cordy/Angel ship. But that all dissolved away because I'm really not happy unless I'm shipping UC. Plus Angel got all whiny, while Wesley didn't shave and locked a girl up in his closet so he became by far the sexier of the two. This is way off topic, so I'm gonna wrap this up with hurrah for smut, cause if I'm not getting any I'm glad my tv characters are.

    Long Live Nekkid!Kief!
Listening to: Tom McRae - Karaoke Soul
"If you see me falling asleep, please don't wake me from this dream."

Why do I even go to work? I was up super late last night after the concert. I was too wired to sleep so I checked my email and surfed around a bit. Laughed at the crazy tag wars, and finally went to bed. Getting up at 8 this morning was so hard! But I dragged my ass to work, and was super busy all morning editing stories for the noon newscast. And then at 11:40, they decide that they're not going to break away from the national news coverage for local news. Damn network.

Laughed my ass off at SullyMel's story about Eminem and the Juno's. I know that CTV isn't the most amazing of networks, but come on Fox News! We are capable of popping a tape in a machine and looking at it. Silly people.

Concert last night was awesome! Just hillarious! I've never really been into Fischerspooner, but a bunch of my friends are. We were supposed to go see the Notwist but the bastards cancelled. So my choices were to sit around and be bitter about my non-Notwist night, or go see Fischerspooner and hope they're good. I am so glad I went with the latter! I was expecting a couple of guys with keyboards. Instead I got 4 lingerie clad dancers, 2 back up singers, and a sparkly clothed, costume changing, Rock Me Amadeus Wig wearing lead singer. It was like watching a Vegas stage show. It was so funny! Art and Leisure described their shows as "Part glam part strip show with a hint of cabaret smothered in fun sauce." Exactly. At the end of the show some girls are yelling at Casey Spooner (the lead singer) to take off his pants. I wasn't sure why they were yelling this, since he was so obviously gay, but I was willing to go with it. Well sure enough he rips off his white suit jacket (no shirt underneath), then rips off the matching white paints to reveal lovely sparkly bikini underwear. I have never laughed so hard at a concert.

So while I was gone I missed 24. I have it taped, but due to my being at work for no reason whatsoever I haven't had a chance to watch it. Or Queer as Folk. It's driving me nuts, especially since I keep hearing about the preview for next weeks episode (24), which I don't get! Damn Global! So if anyone knows where I can find this oh-so-lovely promo please tag or email me. Hopefully I will watch all my shows tonight, and be able to squeeze Angel in. Damn work gets in the way of my TV watching!

I'm kinda sad that I don't have any pictures to put up today. So just scroll down and look at yesterdays again, they were pretty!

It is official. I have lost. But I have never been so happy to lose a competition in my life. One, you have been a very formidable opponent, and I am afraid that I can not top Shirtless Kief. Believe me, I tried... Hours of looking and drooling at pictures but nothing was sexier, or made me want to lick the side of his neck more than that pic. I bow down to you, the Queen of Hot Kiefer Pictures. Long Live the Queen!

I still have a few pictures left, so I'll share them. I'm afraid that first I have to start with a bit of a rant. I hate a lot of people. The list includes Kate Warner. Why do I hate her? This is why:

If I wrote 24, this is the scene where Kate would rip off all of Jack's clothes while licking this hand and have her way with him right against that fence. If you've seen The Last Seduction that might help with the visual. Sadly, I don't write 24 and nothing of the sort happened. Kate whined a bit, Jack looked like Sex Personified and life went on.

Normally, I like Jennifer Garner. But sometimes I hate her. This is one of those times:

Get your hands off! He's mine, MINE!!

But most of all I hate this girl:

I should've been an actress! Why the hell didn't I have a pushy stage Mom? I could have been all nekkid with Kiefer. Sigh...

No one to hate in this one... this one is all about the love:

All of today's loverly Kief pictures came from Forever Kiefer. A motto we all can live by.

I will be taping 24 tonight, I'm headed to a concert this evening. Here's hoping that Kate will throw herself at Jack tonight like any self respecting female would. And again, congrats to One, Queen of Hot Kiefer Pictures. A title well deserved.

New Queer as Folk episodes start tonight! I am super excited. It's been almost a year since we had new episodes and I miss seeing all the hot guy-on-guy action.

Goldfrapp have a new album coming out! I used to think that this information would make me a seriously happy girl. And it did, until I downloaded most of it. It's... different. Not bad different, just a big change from their last insanely brilliant album Felt Mountain. If you like James Bond opening sequence songs, go download Lovely Head, Pilots and Utopia. Alison Goldfrapp has the most beautiful, smokey sounding voice. And the orchestration on the songs is amazing! The new songs are good, they just don't have the full, lush feelings from the first album. They're more pop, less movie soundtrack.

Now, on to Kiefer! One's blog was ultra yummy today with Secretary screen caps (still can't get that movie out of my head. It was oh-so very good!) and some more Kiefer pics. I still feel that the Red Chair pic is the one to beat. That pic just made me want to crawl into his lap and...
Sorry, where was I? Right, pictures... It is with pleasure that I introduce to you ToeNailPolish!Kiefer.

He's got his "I know you want me" look on his face, a cigarette and two different colours of nail polish on his toes. Got to love a man that isn't afraid to wear nail polish.
    And here is ChestHair!Kiefer.

Normally I'm not a fan of chest hair, but on Kief it's all good. Flaunt it baby!

I've had the best weekend. I need to get more weekends off! Last night I went out for dinner with friends, and then we hit my favourite bar for dancing and cheap drinks. We ended up at an all night diner at around 3 for breakfast. It was a really great night, I had so much fun. Today was nurse your mild hangover with lots of movies day. I haven't rented a movie in forever, and I'd forgotten how expensive they can be. I dropped $18 on 3 movies! But I guess if I'd seen them in the theatre it would have set me back $36, so I'll try and look at it like it was a bargain.

The first movie I watched was Possession with Gwyneth Paltrow, Aaron Eckhart, Jeremy Northam and Jennifer Ehle. I really liked it, although I had a few superficial issues with it. Namely, that Jeremy Northam looked old. That was really depressing. I loved him in Emma and (oh god, shouldn't admit this) The Net. He's hot! But they made his hair too long. I was disappointed. And they dyed Jennifer Ehle's hair a red-ish shade that didn't suit her. I wanted her to look like Lizzy from Pride and Prejudice. So apparently if you take the actors away from a Jane Austin character it's not good for them. But Aaron Eckhart is beautiful! All rugged and manly. Yum!

Next, I moved on to... Maid in Manhattan. Yes, I'm embarrassed. It was exactly how I thought it would be... Slightly cheesy, some bad dialogue and a pretty thin plot. At least I was enjoying the Ralph eye candy, until my mom said "he has really bad teeth!" For the rest of the movie, all I could think about were his bad teeth. That was depressing.

After dinner I watched my favourite movie of the day Secretary. It was really good. I loved it! James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal were both perfect in their characters. It was a dark movie, but I loved it. So that's my rental recommendation.

And now, my entry in the Hottest Kiefer Picture contest:

See that little bit of tummy sticking out? I just want to touch it. And he's just hanging out in his jeans, having a beer. Sigh... I love Kiefer!

Survey time! Stolen from Jenai and CG.

    1. When did you start watching Alias? Were you hooked up from the start or did it take a while?
I started really watching in the summer when they were rerunning season 1. I was always interested in the show, but I felt some crazy misplaced loyalty to the X-Files final craptastic season. Once it was put out of it's misery, I moved on to Alias.

    2. Have you seen all the episodes?
    Yes, thank you Kazaa!

    3. Which is your favorite season so far? Care to tell me why?
S2, because Irina and Sark are my two favourite characters on the show and they were not around enough in S1.

    4. Name your top five favorite episodes.
Rendezvous, The Pilot, The Counteragent, A Dark Turn, Double Agent.

    5. Name your top three favorite scenes/sequences.
Will yelping when he finds out about Sydney.
    Sark doing anything.
Irina and Jack's first meeting after all those years.

    6. If you were forced to move to a desert island and you could only take one episode with you, which one would it be?
    Rendezvous.

    7. Favorite character?
    Sark.

    8. Favorite pairing?
Sark/Sydney. Followed very closely by Jack/Irina.

    9. Favorite pairing that can never be / favorite slash pairing?
    I kinda like Will/Sark. Oh hell, I like Sark/Anyone.

    10. Least favorite character?
Vaughn. Give the man a spine, and then maybe I can respect him again.

    11. What pairing would you never want to see happen?
Sloane/Sydney. EWWWWW! I don't think we have to worry about that one though.

    12. Do you read Alias fanfiction?
    Yes.

    13. What kind of fanfiction are you most likely to read?
Smut, angst, UC. Bonus points for combining all three.

    14. What kind of fanfiction would you never read?
    It's it's poorly written, I won't waste my time.

    15. Favorite authors?
CG, Lara, Rhien, Rach, Jenai and Robin.

    16. Is Irina evil or good?
Mostly evil with a bit of good.

    17. There's been speculation that Sark might be related to one of the characters. If so, whose brother do you think he is?
**passes CG a drink as they sit in Egypt** Sark is obviously Danny's brother.

    18. Who in your opinion are Syd's real parents?
    Jack and Irina.

    19. What is in your opinion the meaning of #47? Coincidence? More?
The writers trying to drive fans crazy.

    20. Do you own any Alias merchandise?
I'm pretty sure that I'll be buying the S1 DVD's when they're released. But currently, no.

    21. Do you have any Alias related titles? (eg. VartanHo #?, etc.)
    Nope.

    22. Have you ever met any of the Alias cast?
No... not yet anyway. (see plan in post below.)

    23. If you had to chose, which character would you kill off?
I want to say Vaughn, but then Mopey!Sydney would piss me off too much.

    24. If you had to chose, which character would you ressurect?
    Noah!

    24. What's the one thing you'd like to see in the future on Alias? (can be as out there as it gets, something you'd "die" to see on the show).
Sark... all nekkid, all the time.

    25. Is there anything you can think of what would make you stop watching Alias?
    "I love you Vaughn."
    "I love you more Sydney."
    "No, I love you more!"
    "No, I love you more!"

Forgot to mention last night that the Kiefer Gap Ad made me not hate the Gap anymore. I've even bought some of their clothes since that ad came out. How's that for affective advertising? Need to go stare and lust after that picture again...

It's over! Ten evil days of work straight, and as a reward four lovely days off. Well, maybe lovely isn't quite the word for them. Apparently the weather hasn't clued into the fact that it's April. We've had snow/freezing rain for the past three days. My friends and I have decided to cancel our trip to Victor Garber's Hometown tomorrow. That has me rather sad... I'd come up with a whole plan to go to and find an extended member of the Garber family, have them fall in love with me, offer to take me to LA to meet "famous Uncle Vic," where I was going to meet David Anders, get him nekkid, make him talk in a British accent and tape it to send to all my fellow Sark lovers. I thought it was a fool proof plan until the whole ice storm thing. Damn.

I had planned a whole 24 discussion, but it's late and I really can't be bothered! If you really want to know what I thought about it, I posted a short blurb at AU in the 24 thread. All I will say is why on earth hasn't Kate ripped all of Jack's clothes off and had her way with him. Over and over again. That girl needs to get her priorities in check... Just look at this:

Like you don't want to just jump all over that.

I had the worst day at work today. Just after I showed up for my shift, my supervisor asked to talk to me. And he closed the door to his office. Never, ever a good sign. He tells me that he received a complaint from a co-worker (who of course he can't name) that I haven't been pulling my weight at night. This floors me... I have never been so insulted in my whole life. Supervisor then says that he defended me, and he doesn't think that about me at all. Thank God. But since a complaint was made, he has to follow it up by talking to me. So we discuss it a bit, and I say that I'll try harder, and he says that he thinks I do a really good job. So officially all is good. Nothing goes in my file or anything like that.

So then I start thinking, who would say that about me? For the past three weeks I've been working six days a week. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the happiest about it, but I'd never let my work suffer because of it. I've been going over in my head who I've been working with, and suddenly it hits me. I know exactly who decided to bitch about me. The guy I affectionately call Creepy Work Guy. I think it was last Monday that I had to work with him. I even blogged about how he was getting kinda bitchy with me. I thought it was funny. Silly me. I guess I never thought that he would let a personal issue affect his decisions at work. I guess I'm just a hell of a lot more professional than he is.

Here is the back story on Creepy Work Guy (CWG). We met, I thought he was creepy. He asked me out (creepy!), I said no in a very polite way. That was about three and a half years ago. We've been awkward around each other ever since. I was fine and dandy with that. Then in February, he sends me this insane email where he apologizes for his "entire existence since he met me." WTF? He talked about how we were always ackward around each other, and he never knows what to say around me. He said that once I got to know him that he has his good points, and he just wants to be friends. The major issue there is that I don't want to be friends. I don't think I've ever said that about anyone. I'm generally a people person, and can get along with just about anybody. But something about this guy just rubs me the wrong way. I had no clue how to respond to his email. Honestly, when I first read it I was mad. The whole thing sounded like a massive guilt trip because I don't want to date him. And it was obvious from the email that he still has some feelings for me. After I had a few hours to think about it, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't really a guilt trip against me, it was more of him looking for an ego boost. I think that he hoped I would say to him that we could be friends, and maybe that could lead to something else. I really think he was hoping I'd boost his ego. And that is so far from the truth. I wrote him a very short email back a few days later saying that he shouldn't feel awkward around me since we are just co-workers. His response? "Thanks, like I said, I'm an ass." I'm not kidding. CWG is clearly lacking in the self esteem department. I'm sorry, but I'll never be the one to help in that department. After that fiasco I tried to give him some space hoping that would help. Unfortunately at this point, another guy we work with decided to take a sick leave. I've been getting all of his hours (hence the crazy work weeks.) CWG felt that the hours should have gone to him, and that it's just another example of work screwing him over. I forgot to mention that CWG has a chip on his shoulder about the size of the Grand Canyon. Nothing is ever his fault apparently. Since the "war over hours" began he's been bitching to anyone who will listen about why he should get the hours and I shouldn't. I'll readily admit that I'm mad about this, and have been avoiding him more than usual.

Here's the kicker... This weekend he wouldn't talk to me. Not a fucking word. I'd walk by him and say hello (since we do have to work together) and he'd ignore me. And I felt bad. I felt terrible. I thought that I had been so mean to him that he had decided ignoring me was his only option. And I felt guilty. I hate to make anyone feel bad. Even when someone really deserves it, I hate to hurt their feelings. So I spent the rest of the weekend including him in coversations and trying to get things back to normal. Or at least as normal as they have ever been between us. But now I realize that the reason he wasn't talking to me was because he ratted me out at work. The fucking little bastard. He's trying to make me look bad, so that he can have my hours. Well fuck him. I'm so mad that I can barely see straight. I don't care about whatever fucking personal problems we've had, there is no reason to start making shit up about how I'm slacking off. Thank god my supervisors know me better that that But now I don't know how to deal with the fucking little prick. He's not working again until Friday so I have a while to think about it. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them, because I don't have a clue what to do.

So if you've made it all the way through this rant, thank you for listening (reading, whatever). I just really needed to get it off my chest.
